Hardware Requirements
Wideband Oxygen Sensor Required: For all tuning services involving fueling adjustments (Street Tune, Flex Fuel, Email Tune), a reliable wideband oxygen sensor (e.g., AEM X-Series, Ballenger AFR500) is necessary to ensure accurate and safe calibration.
You may purchase a wideband sensor kit directly through us, or you are welcome to source your own. Without wideband data, we cannot guarantee optimal performance or safety at wide-open throttle.

- Compliance & Responsibility: Our tuning services are intended for off-road or competition use where applicable. We do not disable emissions control devices. It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to ensure their vehicle complies with all local, state, and federal laws.
- Vehicle Health: Tuning optimizes your vehicle's performance, which can increase stress on mechanical components. Please ensure your vehicle is mechanically sound (no leaks, healthy fuel system, good ignition components) before we begin. We cannot be held responsible for mechanical failures that occur during the tuning process due to pre-existing conditions or wear.
- Safety First: Remote tuning requires data logging on the street. You agree to observe all traffic laws and drive safely while collecting data. Cars & Collectibles LLC assumes no liability for accidents, fines, or damages incurred during data logging or testing.
- No Warranty: Due to the nature of high-performance modifications, we cannot offer a warranty on your engine or drivetrain. While we prioritize safety and reliability in our calibrations, you accept all risks associated with modifying your vehicle.
- Service Scope: HP Tuners hardware and credits are not included in the service fee unless explicitly stated. Email Tune packages include 2 free revisions; additional revision rounds may be billed at our prevailing rate.
