1994 – 1996 Ford Thunderbird Gauge Cluster Bezel STL
This is a digital download of the precision-engineered STL file to 3D print a replacement gauge cluster bezel for the 1994-1996 Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar. Developed from multiple high-resolution 3D scans of an original OEM component and refined through iterative modeling to ensure accurate geometry, fitment, and surface quality. This part is built to restore fitment, appearance, and integrity where OEM components have degraded, failed, or are no longer available. For maximum durability in automotive interior environments, we strongly recommend printing this component in ABS or ASA. This design also features an improved vent mounting system. Unlike the original melt-tab method, which requires permanently deforming plastic to secure the vent, this bezel design utilizes integrated reinforced standoffs that allow the use of self-tapping screws or heat-set inserts. The vent is secured by fastening through the factory slots directly into the bezel, creating a strong, reliable hold. This allows the vent to be easily removed and reinstalled as needed, improving serviceability and long-term usability. As OEM support for the MN12 platform continues to decline, properly engineered replacement components become essential to maintaining these vehicles. This bezel is part of an ongoing effort to support and preserve the platform for enthusiasts. The development of this CAD model required significant time and refinement to achieve the level of fitment and consistency expected from a functional interior part.
